An engineering company which specialised in improving engine systems for domestic, commercial and domestic use received £56,631.94 after working with the specialist R&D Team at T4C.
The company often worked with very old systems and updated them for modern use by reducing emission levels to acceptable standards and ensuring they run on contemporary fuels.
To update these systems bespoke parts, needed to be manufactured by the company as none where available of the shelf due to the age of the systems.
As the company made these parts themselves this was considered R&D as the updating process could not be undertaken if it wasn’t for these new parts.
